The AHL announced today that Alex Nedeljkovic has been named to the AHL All-Star Classic.

Nedeljkovic is 12-8-1 this season with a 2.49 goals-against average that is tied for 11th in the AHL and a .905 save percentage. He is also tied for third in the AHL with three shutouts.

The 24-year-old, who was named the AHL’s Most Outstanding Goaltender last season, is the third netminder in franchise history to earn an All-Star nod, joining Michael Leighton in 2017 and Justin Peters in 2013.

Nedeljkovic will head to Ontario with teammate Jake Bean to represent the Atlantic Division at the AHL All-Star Classic, which takes place Jan. 26 and 27.

Both Sunday evenings skills competition (8 p.m. eastern) and Monday's All-Star Challenge tournament (10 p.m. eastern) can be viewed on AHLTV.
