Following a victorious Saturday, the Hurricanes have assigned Clark Bishop and Brian Gibbons to Charlotte.

After getting his first recall of the season, Bishop logged five games for the Canes and picked up one assist. He now returns to Charlotte where he has three assists and a team-leading +4 rating in 19 games.

Gibbons appeared in two games during his most recent stint with the Canes to bring his season total to 13 contests. The veteran is tied for fourth on the Checkers in scoring this season with 11 points (3g, 8a) in 12 games thus far.
