Following today’s win over Chicago, the Hurricanes have assigned forward Brian Gibbons to Charlotte.
The veteran forward has now logged three games with Carolina this season.
Gibbons is currently tied for the Checkers scoring lead with eight points in six games this season with Charlotte. The Checkers finish up a two-game home set against Lehigh Valley later this evening.
