Forward Cliff Pu will be returning to Charlotte this weekend as he has been recalled from his first stint with the Florida Everblades.
The 20-year old made his mark with the Everblades, recording five points (2g, 3a) in five games played with the club. Pu has played the majority of his rookie season with the Checkers, recording six points (1g, 5a) through 42 games so far.
The Ontario native returning to Charlotte lends the Checkers an extra hand as forwards Aleksi Saarela and Clark Bishop are day-to-day with injuries. The Checkers are back in action for two games in Charlotte this weekend where they will face the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
