The second-year pro made the NHL squad out of training camp and has spent the entirety of the season thus far in Carolina. Fleury has recorded six assists in 39 games with the Hurricanes this season, his first stint in the NHL.

Fleury returns to Charlotte where he was a standout rookie a year ago, ranking second among team blue liners with 26 points in 69 games. He joins a group of seven healthy defensemen currently on the Charlotte roster as the team travels to Hartford for a pair of games Friday and Saturday before hitting the AHL All-Star break.
