Alice Garmon
Garmon was promoted to director of group ticket sales in early 2011 and is responsible for overseeing group ticket sales initiatives. Garmon also enjoys working with various schools and non-profit organizations to facilitate the Charlotte Checkers fundraising program. Garmon first joined the Checkers in 2008 as an account executive.

Garmon came to the team with an extensive sales background. From 2005-2008, Garmon worked as a wine and beer sales representative for Empire Distributors, and has also worked as a sales manager at Kenneth Cole Productions in from 2004-2005 and a sales leader at bebe from 2001-2004.

A North Carolina native, practices yoga, collects art and enjoys spending time with her new baby, Ava, husband, Billy and dog, Georgia.

College and major UNC-Greensboro, Bachelor of Fine Arts with minors in Art History, Chemistry and Biology – yes, I was in school a long time to my dad’s dismay.
Favorite sports team Growing up it was the Cowboys, but now it would have to be the Panthers

Hobbies Yoga, hanging at the pool, collecting art - I have a Marc Chagall – it’s of a couple floating in space and a chicken in the middle.

Last place you went on vacation South Africa, really Oak Island, but South Africa was more everything!

Favorite Checkers memory Pink in the Rink 2013 – we had a crowd of 13,000 in Time Warner Cable arena - it was just such an extraordinary feeling of celebration and support for the attending breast cancer survivors and it was one of those moments where you felt like everyone else in the building was on the same level.  It was incredible.
