Bunn joined the Checkers staff in July 2011 as an account executive and was promoted to director of community relations and fan development in July 2013. Her primary responsibility is coordinating community events and appearances throughout Charlotte area schools. Elle also directs the internship program and is the in-game host at all of the Checkers' home games.
During her time with the Checkers, Bunn has helped to grow community appearances over 700 percent in just two years. This year, Elle was named one of Charlotte's "Top 30 Under 30" by Elevate Magazine.
Elle is originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and received her Bachelor of Science in sports management from James Madison University. While attending JMU, she interned in the athletics marketing department at JMU where she served as the JMU Sports on-air personality and was responsible for planning and production of the department’s weekly sports promotional videos. Elle was also the in-game hostess for JMU Men’s and Women’s basketball from 2009-2011.
