Gabby BeinlichGabby joined the ticket sales staff in February of 2018 after graduating from Belmont Abbey College. There she studied Sports Management and played four years of NCAA Women’s Volleyball. Aside from playing, she continues to be an active member of the Professional Association of Volleyball Officials in hopes of one day reffing in the Olympics.

As a personal account manager, she is responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer service to clients, creating new business through our various ticket packages and generating new ideas to enhance the Checkers experience.

Beinlich joins us from Blythewood, South Carolina. In her free time she enjoys working out, playing videos games, and sitting on her super comfy couch.

Hometown My dad was in the Army so I don’t claim anywhere but if I had to… Blythewood, SC because it’s where I went to high school and lived the longest.
College and major Played volleyball (setter) all 4 years at Belmont Abbey College and studied Sports Management, big shout out to Dr. Andy Rudd #RaisetheRed
Favorite sports team Don’t have one because I’m more of a player fan than a team one. I appreciate anything athletic.
Random fact about yourself I referee NCAA collegiate volleyball and indoor USAV. I actually love getting yelled at.
Favorite dessert Anything chocolate!
Best thing about your job I’m able to be creative and work in multiple departments to spread ideas along with meeting a bunch of awesome new people.
Hobbies Chilling on my couch watching documentaries or going back and forth on the sticks (PS4) with my husband Nick.
One place you’ve always wanted to visit As of lately, Boston.
Last place you went on vacation Boynton Beach, FL! Great place.
Ranch or blue cheese? Neither, I’m a picky eater
Favorite pizza topping Cheese, but usually I take it off and just eat the bread and marinara.
Pets My beautiful nephew, Pablo the Pomsky, follow him on Instagram @pablothepomsky_
Favorite Checkers memory Being a part of the longest game in AHL history! Quintuple overtime, and left at around 1 a.m. We lost but I made it on the AHL Twitter and even got to participate in $1 beer night.
Previous jobs Along with refereeing, I coached the Blythewood High School JV/Varsity team. The Checkers was my first employer since graduating college in Spring 2017.
