The Hurricanes have recalled forward Josh Jooris from Charlotte.
The winger cleared waivers and was assigned to Charlotte for the first time this season on Feb. 9. With the Checkers, Jooris recorded three assists in five games, helping Charlotte to a 4-1-0 record over that stretch.
Jooris now returns to Carolina where he has six points (3g, 3a) in 30 games this season.
The Hurricanes return to action Friday in Raleigh and Saturday in Detroit, while the Checkers kick off a three-in-three road trip Friday against Springfield.
