As they come back from the All-Star break, the Hurricanes have recalled Haydn Fleury from Charlotte.
The third-year defenseman appeared in both road games last weekend and scored his first goal of the season in Saturday’s win over Hartford. So far this season Fleury has logged 13 games with the Checkers and put up four points (1g, 3a) along the way.
Fleury now heads back to the Canes, where he has one assist in 12 games this season.
Carolina returns to action Friday at home against Vegas, while the Checkers kick off a four-game home stand with a matchup against Providence Friday.
