The Checkers and Extreme Ice Center hosted a skills and drills session for youth players on Sunday, Feb. 3. Forty-two participants attended the clinic and learned essential hockey skills from the pros, including Checkers players and former NHL player Jason Dawe.
Proceeds from the clinic benefited Beginnings of North Carolina, a non-profit resource for families with deaf or hard-of-hearing children.
