The Checkers announced today that they will play a second preseason game against their regional rival, the Norfolk Admirals, in Norfolk on Sunday, Oct. 7, at 1 p.m. The game will take place at Chilled Ponds Ice and Turf Sports Complex.
The game will mark the second consecutive day that the two teams meet in Norfolk. The Checkers were already scheduled to face the Admirals at Scope Arena at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6. Ticketing information for both games can be found here.
The game completes the Checkers' exhibition schedule, which features two games for the second consecutive year. A full training camp schedule and roster can be found here. |
