The Checkers will hold a clothing and toy drive for the victims of Hurricane Sandy this Saturday (7 p.m.) and Sunday (3 p.m.) when they host the Oklahoma City Barons.
Fans who bring new or like-new clothing, toys and/or supplies will receive a free ticket to the Saturday, Dec. 15, game against the Houston Aeros. The toys will be used as Christmas presents for the children of the families affected by the hurricane.
The collection and ticket distribution point will be on the main concourse behind Section 116. The items will then be delivered to Sandy victims in mid-December.
