WINTER HAT GIVEAWAY - SATURDAY, JAN. 1
Some call it a toque. Others call it a toboggan. Either way you put it, it's a hat that goes on your head and keeps you cool during those "cruel and unforgiving" winter months in Charlotte.
Come out on Saturday, Jan. 1 as the Checkers welcome the Binghamton Senators for the first time. The first 3,000 fans will receive a winter hat, courtesy of Presbyterian Hospital. It is the first Saturday home game of the season so be sure to get your tickets early!
Jan. 1 is also another "Blackout" game, presented by Amtrak, where the Checkers will don their special black jerseys. The jerseys will then be auctioned off live on Friday, Apr. 8 to benefit the Charlotte Checkers Charitable Foundation.
