The Checkers organization, several of its players and new Charlotte residents Zach, Jenna, Randy and Danielle Bennett were featured on the season finale of ESPN’s weekly investigative newsmagazine show E:60 Tuesday.
It was announced in April that the Checkers, with the help of sponsors, donations and fan support, were able to purchase a home for Zach and his family and they have relocated to Charlotte from Albany, N.Y. for better medical care and to be closer to the team.
