Training camp 'built' by Timberstone Homes

The Checkers opened training camp on Monday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. with the first of eight on-ice sessions open to the public at Extreme Ice Center. An updated roster as of Oct. 3 can be found here.

The remaining schedule is as follows (all times subject to change):

Mon, Oct. 3 - 10 a.m. to noon
Tue, Oct. 4 - 10 a.m. to noon
Wed, Oct. 5 - 10 a.m. to noon
Thu, Oct. 6 - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Checkers’ home opener is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 at Time Warner Cable Arena against the Peoria Rivermen. Season tickets and mini-plans are on sale now and start as low as $10 per game. Ticket information can be obtained by calling 704-342-4423 or visiting www.gocheckers.com.
