CHARLOTTE, NC—The Charlotte Checkers will unveil their new headquarters and team store Saturday during the NHL preseason game fan fest at the EpiCentre. Additionally, the team will unveil the new and improved www.gocheckers.com Friday.

The new offices are located on the fourth floor of the EpiCentre (210 E. Trade St. Suite E480, Charlotte, NC 28202), overlooking the courtyard and feature more than 7,000 square feet of space, including a new retail store with Checkers merchandise. Click here to see more images.

“We are thrilled about the move to the new offices in the EpiCentre,” said Checkers COO Tera Black. “They have a modern design, plenty of space and are connected to many of our partner restaurants as well as Time Warner Cable Arena.”

The newly designed and improved www.gocheckers.com will be launched Friday and includes an interactive schedule on the home page, a more user-friendly interface and a new online merchandise store, among other improvements.

Fans are welcome to come up and tour the new offices and store Saturday during the Fan Fest, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The new retail space will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on weekday game days.

The Carolina Hurricanes and Winnipeg Jets will meet in an NHL preseason game, presented by Husqvarna, on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. at Time Warner Cable Arena. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com or the Time Warner Cable Arena box office.
