CHECKERS TO PLAY PRESEASON GAMES THIS WEEKEND

Checkers training camp is 'built' by Timberstone Homes

The Charlotte Checkers will face off against the Lake Erie Monsters twice this weekend, beginning Friday, Sept. 30 (7 p.m.) and continuing on Saturday, Oct. 1 (1 p.m.).

Both games will take place at Extreme Ice Center in Indian Trail, N.C. Tickets are $10 for season ticket holders and $15 for the general public ($10 for kids under 12) and can be purchased now from Extreme Ice Center or Ticketmaster (click here to purchase online). Extreme Ice Center has a maximum capacity of 1,000 and fans are encouraged to get their tickets as early as possible.

Fri, Sept. 30 - Preseason game vs. Lake Erie, 7 p.m.
Sat, Oct. 1 - Preseason game vs. Lake Erie, 1 p.m.
Sun, Oct. 2 - Off
Mon, Oct. 3 - 10 a.m. to noon
Tue, Oct. 4 - 10 a.m. to noon
Wed, Oct. 5 - 10 a.m. to noon
Thu, Oct. 6 - 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The Checkers’ home opener is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 15 at Time Warner Cable Arena against the Peoria Rivermen. Season tickets and mini-plans are on sale now and start as low as $10 per game. Ticket information can be obtained by calling 704-342-4423 or visiting www.gocheckers.com.
