CHARLOTTE, NC—The Charlotte Checkers and Bobcats Sports and Entertainment announced today that the two teams will play a double header on Saturday, April 7, with the Checkers hosting the Abbotsford Heat at 12 p.m.
The Bobcats will host the Atlanta Hawks later that night at 8 p.m. The Checkers game was originally planned for Friday, April 6, at 7 p.m. against Abbotsford but was moved to accommodate the rescheduling of the Jan. 25 Red Hot Chili Peppers concert.
The Checkers host the Rockford IceHogs again tonight at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com or the Time Warner Cable Arena box office. The team will then embark on a four-game road swing before returning home to host Norfolk on Sunday, Feb. 12.
