Joined the Checkers after signing with Carolina upon the conclusion of his collegiate career at Brown University on 3/20 ... Made his professional debut and had three shots on goal in the Checkers' final game of the reagular season at RFD (4/19).

Scored 70 points (17g, 53a) and picked up 267 penalty minutes in 128 games with Brown, including two seasons as team captain ... Earned First Team All-Ivy honors and a nomination for the ECAC's Best Defensive Defenseman award during his senior season in 2013-14 ... Also made First Team All-Ivy in his junior season and earned Second Team All-Ivy honors in his freshman and sophomore campaigns ... Named ECAC Hockey All-Rookie in 2011 ...
