Finished the 2011-12 season as the Checkers' all-time leader in games played by a defenseman (147) … Was also tied for the all-time lead for shorthanded points by a defenseman (3) and led all defensemen in shorthanded assists (3) … Signed a two-year contract with Carolina on 7/8/11 … Drafted in the sixth round (162nd overall) by Carolina in 2007.
2011-12
