Garmon was promoted to director of group ticket sales in early 2011 and is responsible for overseeing group ticket sales initiatives. Garmon also enjoys working with various schools and non-profit organizations to facilitate the Charlotte Checkers fundraising program. Garmon first joined the Checkers in 2008 as an account executive.

Garmon came to the team with an extensive sales background. From 2005-2008, Garmon worked as a wine and beer sales representative for Empire Distributors, and has also worked as a sales manager at Kenneth Cole Productions in from 2004-2005 and a sales leader at bebe from 2001-2004.

A North Carolina native, practices yoga, collects art and enjoys spending time with her dog, Georgia.
