Gehringer, who joined the Checkers in the fall of 2012, is responsible for executing partnership elements and maintaining a positive relationship with existing partners. He also organizes the corporate department's game-day initiatives, expense accounts and budgets, supervises the fulfillment of on-site partnership contractual obligations, and executes game operations elements.

At UNC Greensboro, Gehringer lettered four years on the varsity baseball team. He also completed a study abroad program at Mannheim Universität in Germany.
