Bergen joined the Checkers in January 2013 as a group sales specialist. In this position, she assists the team's ticket sales department in selling tickets and group events.

Prior to starting with the team in a full-time capacity, Bergen interned with the community relations department in the fall of 2012, during which time she also assisted with merchandise sales. She also spent nine months as an intern for the New York Mets in from 2010-11, assisting with ticketing, promotions and game-day operations.
