The signings continue to roll in for Seattle, as the Kraken inked defenseman Dennis Cholowski to a one-year, two-way contract.

The 23-year-old – who was Seattle’s expansion draft selection from the Red Wings - has completed three full pro seasons in his career, posting 27 points (10g, 17a) in 104 NHL games with Detroit and 35 points (6g, 29a) in 69 AHL games with Grand Rapids.

Cholowski split last season between the AHL and NHL and ranked second among Griffins blue liners in scoring.

"Dennis is a young defenseman with offensive upside that we were excited to add to our group," said Ron Francis, Kraken GM. "We like his strong skating and puck moving ability and are looking forward to working with him."

Prior to turning pro Cholowski, the 20th overall pick in 2016, spent one season at St. Cloud State where he totaled 12 points (1g, 11a) in 36 games before jumping to the WHL and recording 66 points (14g, 52a) in 69 games over two seasons with Prince George and Portland.
