Charlotte youth hockey
Registrations are open for multiple youth hockey programs that will be held at Bojangles’ Coliseum this fall.

Families can sign up now for the popular First Goal Program, which offers six on-ice sessions and a full set of equipment to keep for just $250 total. The First Goal program is open to new, first-time hockey participants (boys and girls) aged 5-10. Previous skating experience is recommended but not required. Sessions run from Sept. 15-Oct. 20. Online registration can be found here.

Registration for the Mini Checkers Mite program for U8 boys and girls (2013-16 birth years) is also open now for those who have prior skating experience. The program begins in September, costs $495 and includes 20 sessions (practices and games) and a jersey. Please go here for more information.

The Jr. Checkers are also offering a series of Youth Skates at Bojangles Coliseum that will provide an extra opportunity for all players that are currently playing in Metro or Youth leagues in the Greater Charlotte area to develop and grow. Registration is now open for these skates, which begin September 13. For participants who also wish to play house league at the Pineville Ice House, please contact Jr. Checkers staff at [email protected].

The Charlotte Checkers and Jr. Checkers look forward to supporting and working with all youth and adult programs in the Carolinas. We can’t wait to see you back at the rink!
