The Checkers today announced the initial roster for their training camp, which is presented by Fairfield Inn & Suites and begins on Monday.
The roster,
which can be found here, heavily features players signed to AHL contracts and camp invites - the latter group of which includes the Charlotte-born Brendan Hoffman.
Charlotte’s training camp kicks off on Monday and will run until the season opener on Oct. 14. As the Florida Panthers begin to solidify their roster at the NHL level, more skaters will be assigned to the Checkers.
